Geboren 1954 in Antwerpen, Belgien. Von 1973 bis 1980 Studium der Kunst, Kunstgeschichte und Philosophie in Mainz. Abschluss des Studiums mit dem ersten Staatsexamen in Kunst- und Werkerziehung. Nach dem zweiten Staatsexamen bis 2017 neben künstlerischen Aktivitäten tätig als Kunsterzieher (LA Gymnasium). Wohnhaft seit 1977 in Wiesbaden.

After the second state examination in addition to artistic activities working as an art teacher (LA Gymnasium) until 2017. Resident since 1977 in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Die künstlerischen Aktivitäten sind gekennzeichnet von wiederkehrenden Wechseln der Medien und der inhaltlichen Schwerpunkte.

Der Fokus in den 1980er und 90er Jahren lag auf Malerei, insbesondere Portraitmalerei. Seit 1996 stehen die Neuen Medien im Mittelpunkt. Wie da wären: Medienkunst, Digitale Kunst, Internet Kunst, Net-Art, E-Poetry, Elektronische Literatur. Multimedialität, Interaktivität, internationale Zusammenarbeit (international collaboration) sind Schlüsselbegriffe dieser Periode. Installation und Objektkunst tauchen peripher auf. Mit Beginn der 2010er Jahre treten Malerei und Fotografie wieder in den Vordergrund.

The artistic activities are characterized by recurring changes of the media and the main topics.

While in the 1980s and 90s the creative work concentrated painting, especially portraiture, since 1996, the focus has been on new media. How are there: Media Art, Digital Art, Internet Art, Net-Art, E-Poetry, Electronic Literature. Multimedia, interactivity, international collaboration are key concepts of this period. Installation and object art appear peripherally. With the beginning of the 2010s painting and photography come back to the foreground.
